The Avon Theatre Film Center Board of Directors is pleased to announce the winners of the 17th Annual Avon Scholarship Essay Contest, “Film Matters”. The contest was open to high school seniors in both public and private schools throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties. Prizes totaling $8,500 were awarded in June 2025 to eleven talented high school seniors. The Avon congratulates them on their poignant essays and wishes them much success.
